Travel timetable to Amsterdam by train and Ferry (Overnight journey):

  • Passengers need to avail the train from London Liverpool street station in the evening at 20:38 hrs and arrives at Harwich international in the 22:02 hrs in the late night. Passengers need to avail the overnight ferry services from Harwich to Hoek van Holland.
  • The ferry station is very close to Harwich train station The passengers can make a walking journey to the ferry terminal and board the ship as per their booking on the particular date of their journey. The ferry departs in the late night hours at 23:30 on daily basis. The passengers are provided with overnight accommodation facility in ‘Stena Hollandica’ super ferry which involves sleeping facility.
  • Passengers are provided with separate cabins with beddings and cushions with attached shower facility and toilet. Restaurant facility is available for the passengers to take their dinner comfortably. Internet Wifi connection is made available for the passengers in order to access the internet using their laptops. The ship arrives at Hoek van Holland in the morning time at 07:45 hrs as per the Dutch local time.
  • The passenger need to avail the local train sprinter from Hoek van Holland to Rotterdam. There is a regular service of this train after every 15-30 minutes at consistent basis from platform number. The early train departs from Hoek in the early morning at 08:07 hrs and reach Rotterdam after 30 minutes at 08:35 hrs.

  • Avail the train from London Liverpool train station to Harwich, which departs in the early morning hours at 06:25 and reaching Harwich train station after 1 and half hour at 07:51 hrs. As ferry terminal is very close to the Harwich railway station, passengers can make a walking journey to the ferry terminal, which takes 5-10 minutes of walk. There is no ferry services for Hoek van Holland on Sunday.
  • Passengers need to avail the ‘Stena Hollandica’ super ferry in order to reach Hoek .The ferry departs from Harwich on daily basis at 09:00 hrs and reach the destination at Hoek van Holland in the evening tome at 16:15 hrs according to Dutch time.
  • After reach Hoek van Holland, the passenger need to avail the local sprinter which train service which departs from Hoek railway station after every 15-30 minutes on consistent basis.
  • The train departs from Hoek at 16:37 hrs and reach Rotterdam at 17:08 hrs. The intercity train usually takes around 2 hours to reach Amsterdam from Rotterdam. The passenger need to board the intercity train which departs at 17:28 hrs in the evenings and reach the destination at 18:33 hrs on the same day of their journey which originated from London Liverpool railway station.
